Joe Biden’s first live presser was exactly what we all expected. Scripted questions, answers, and a plethora of stumbles and missteps. At one point he claimed to be in the Senate 150 years ago. He also answered a question asked about gun control with a 10 minute diatribe on infrastructure. In between fumbling through his many cheat sheets and frequent uncomfortably-long, dazed stares, he managed to say almost nothing for an entire hour, save for the most memorable and inspiring line to be uttered by a sitting President in decades, “ummm, well anyway…”
